Abstract

|
A case of severe intracranial vertebral artery stenosis presenting as recurrent vertigos, treated successfully with a stent-assisted angioplasty, was presented. During the procedure, acute thrombus formation happend immediately after the stent-assisted angioplasty but effectively managed with intraarterial abiciximab and nimodipine injections. Complication related with a stent-assisted angioplasty and its management will be discussed.
